FREEZE DRIED STRAWBERRIES

Freeze dried Strawberries make the perfect on-the-go snack. They are light to carry, have a nice, light crunch, and are full of flavour.  The freeze drying process retains up to 97% of the nutrients of it’s fresh counterpart.

Many of our customers love how light weight these snacks are and have said they are perfect for hiking/camping/kayaking trips!

Here at Astro Foods we love to support our local farmers and our local economy.  Like all of the berries we offer, our Freeze dried Strawberries are locally grown, in Beautiful British Columbia.

You can snack on our freeze dried strawberries as is, or put them in your favourite cereal/granola. You can even mix them with yogurt, add to your baking or your pancakes/waffles, or rehydrate the fruit in a bowl of water. The list of uses is unlimited.

** Store in a cool, dry place. Freeze dried fruit will absorb any moisture in the air, so store in an air tight container or make sure bag is properly sealed (air tight).  Do not store in regular ziplock bags.

For best freshness results, store in air tight jars. Mason jars work well.  If your freeze-dried strawberries are not crunchy any more, not to worry, you can still eat it.  It will just have a “dehydrated fruit” type texture to it.
